1. VETİS - Alternative Off-Campus Access System (Recommended)

What is VETIS?

VETİS is a tool that provides easy access to the SUBSCRIPTION, FREE and TRIAL ACCESS Electronic Databases in our Library from outside the campus with desktop, laptop and mobile devices without making PROXY/VPN settings.

How to Use 
a. If you have a library membership;

You can log in to the system with your username and password from the access address https://katalog.trakya.edu.tr/vetisbt/?dil=tr&p=1&veritabani =  (If you have borrowed materials from the library before, you have a library membership)

If you do not know your password or have forgotten it,   you can contact our library at kddb@trakya.edu.tr .

b. If you do not have a library membership;

You can register to the system with your @trakya.edu.tr e-mail addresses from the register sectionon the link https://katalog.trakya.edu.tr/vetisbt/?dil=tr&p=1&veritabani =  . 

*In addition, our academic staff;

Without the need for a separate user definition and password,  users can log in to the system via the https://teknokta.trakya.edu.tr  access address with their /trakya.edu.tr e-mail address and password. By selecting the VETİS section at the bottom of the screen that opens, access to electronic resources from outside the campus (remotely) is provided.

2. With   Sophos Connect  Application

For our users who want to access our university computer network from outside the campus, the “Sophos Connect” application has been put into service instead of the “Forti Client” application that was previously offered for use. You can access from inside the country by following the instructions in the installation guides below. In addition, our users who wish can access from outside the campus by using the “Open VPN” connection option.
